New Instagram Update that Stops Spam Accounts Following You
Instagram has introduced a new spam filter that will stop spam accounts AKA bots from following your account!
Once the filter is switched on, any account suspected to be a fake follower will need your permission to follow you.
Fake followers have been a constant annoyance for far too long so this is a feature that I think EVERYONE will love!
It’s super simple and takes less than a minute to do.

How to turn it on:
▪️ Tap the 3 lines at the top right of your profile
▪️ Tap ‘Settings & Privacy’
▪️ Scroll down to the ‘How others interact with you’ section
▪️ Tap ‘Follow & invite friends’
▪️ Switch the ‘Filter spam followers’ toggle ON.

Switch the ‘Filter spam followers filter’ on
You can finally wave goodbye fake followers 👋.
