Do you use a scheduling tool?

If not, let’s get you super organised so you can hit the ground running in 2021.

Tex that reads - One hour of planning can save you 10 hours of doing

Scheduling tools allow you to schedule your content days, weeks and months in advance.  This is especially useful when you are a busy business owner who needs to crack on with your daily duties and not worry about writing social posts on an ad-hoc basis.

By creating your content in advance you will be able to plan and follow a strategy more easily.  Which will, in turn, result in you reaching your social media goals quicker.

So with no further ado, here are my top 5 schedulers that I am either using now or have done in the past.

These are in no particular order.  They all have different benefits so it’s really what suits you & your business best.

Buffer  is super easy to use. It has a free version that allows you to schedule up to 10 posts on up to 3 accounts.  Very intuitive and a great scheduler for beginners.

Planoly is fab if you want to plan your Instagram feeds aesthetic as you schedule ahead. Planoly has a free plan, I use the paid version and find the hashtag banks that you can compile are such a time saver! The analytics are also very good on the paid version, they make creating client reports a much quicker job.

Later also allows you to plan your feed aesthetically which is great. It’s pretty intuitive and has a free plan.

Hootsuite is more for bigger teams managing multiple accounts. There’s no free version here anymore sadly but they do offer a free 30-day trial. On the entry-level plan, you can manage up to 10 accounts.

Facebook Business Suite - I have been using this scheduler for a while now and am pretty happy with it. It has a few little glitches but it’s free, you can manage all your Facebook & Instagram accounts together in one place. An added bonus is it auto-posts carousels, Reels and different image sizes to Instagram which some schedulers don’t do, even on paid plans. Plus, if you have an Instagram & Facebook Shop you can tag your products in posts and Reels.

I have also heard very good things about Agorapulse &  Smarterqueue but I haven’t used these myself yet. When I do, I will report back.

As a social media manager, I am always on the hunt for great tools that save me time and get me super organised.

So, when I heard about the Social Media Managers Toolkit from the Social Media Managers Hub, I was intrigued.

I held off purchasing it for a while as it was quite a big outlay.  However, when I did eventually buy it - OMG it was a total game changer!

The templates, the advice, the time-saving….

I literally can’t say a bad word about it.  It truly is worth every penny.

You can check out the Toolkit here* and join the waiting list to buy.

I hope these tips are useful to you and help with your future content planning.
